V.I.P. Lane’s Top 3 Wedding Venues

Finding that perfect venue is a search that can take many, many months… even years, and let’s face it, with so many considerations to make, it can be a pretty daunting task. What’s your style? Australian Beach, Swan Valley Winery or maybe something urban? What about a private residence or maybe your favourite restaurant? Would you like it small and intimate or large and airy? We could go on!

Here at V.I.P. Lane, we’ve been apart of many fantastic wedding receptions over the years and in doing so, we’ve discovered and experienced some of WA’s best and most unique wedding venues. So to take some of that daunting pressure off you, Brides and Grooms to be, we sat down and collated all our favourite venues and have put together a 3 part series listing our top 3 WA wedding venues.

To kick things off in the series, we couldn’t go passed Lamont’s Bishop House in the city. Nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of the business end in the Perth CBD, Lamont’s is a truly magical place. It’s the type of location you’d normally only ever think could be possible in fairy tales. But this historic venue is indeed real and we think, shares a likeness with the beautiful world of Narnia.

 

As you wander through the iron gates, you’d probably expect to see another accounting firm or marketing hub, but instead what greets you is an understated and elegant heritage listed building, perched at the top of a beautifully manicured garden. With large overhanging trees and majestic charm, Lamont’s manages to maintain a feeling of incredible privacy and intimacy, despite being right in the centre of the CBD. It really is an inner city oasis!

Great food, excellent service and ample parking across the road at the PCEC, combined with a stunning open air courtyard surrounded by the twinkling lights of the CBD highrise, Lamont’s has carved it’s place out as one of our favourite WA wedding venues.

If you’re looking for a sense of grandeur, majesty and historic charm then you really can’t go past Lamont’s Bishop House.
